Burundi is one of the very most minor countries in mainland Africa located on the shores of Lake Tanganyika, but it has a lot to offer concerning beauty and nature. Chutes De La Karera is a collective name for the four beautiful waterfalls. One can walk through the waterfalls.

Gishora is a place that is well-known for safaris and drum sanctuary. The drums play a crucial role in the history of Gishora.

The master drummers of Burundi are from a small African country. Drumming performance is a ritual dance as music. The drum plays an essential role in Burundi. The Drummer’s uniform consists of white, red, and green resembling the colors of the Burundian flag.

Nature lovers will be truly excited with the natural gift, Reserve Park, falls, and lakes. Guests can enjoy many activities to enjoy these places, such as trekking, hiking, biking, water sports, bird watching, etc.; these places are meant to relax and revitalize.

The best- hidden gems in Burundi that not many people know about is big stone called Stanley and Livingstone. It is a Monument at Mugere that marks a location where explorer and missionary Dr. David Livingstone and explorer Henry Morton Stanley visited and spent two nights.

Burundi National Parks:

It has three National Parks.

Kibira National Park is a perfect destination for adventurous tourists who love wildlife. It was once famous for hunting animals as exotic and rarest species of animals were found. White Columbus monkeys and many birds are also found in this park. Don’t miss out on the tea plantation on the sides of the national park. You can visit the Teza tea factory for a detailed study of the process of making tea.

Ruvubu National Park: The majestic wildlife present in this park makes up for the Ruvubu National Park. Traveling to this park is not at all complicated. There are camping facilities. It is a haven for various animals like crocodiles, hippos, leopards, buffaloes, monkeys, lions, and antelopes.

Rusizi National Park is a famous National Park and also accessible by road. Bujumbura is just 15 km away. Since it is a wetland environment, it provides a habitat for hippos, aquatic antelopes, and a wide variety of birds.
