Food and Drink in Easter Island

Gastronomy

With few exceptions, most show an unpretentious, if not silly, and offer dishes more or less similar, showing a king fish of the day (tuna and tuna still ... it's great but c is boring!), ceviche, chicken and steaks.
It is surprising how little of variety of fish on plates. This is actually the absence of coral reefs (real pantry) which makes small fish fauna of relatively rare. If you want to spend less, we can fall back on salads, sandwiches and empanadas.

Where to eat?

There are three dozen restaurants in Hanga Roa, which must be added those of the major hotels, whose prices are not necessarily much higher. The restaurants are open daily (except Sunday for some), or more often until midnight. Hours vary widely, however, depending on the crowd and the moment of the season ...

Drinks

You can drink the pisco sour, a cocktail made of water spirits grape, lemon juice, egg white and powdered sugar (or pisco alone for that matter).
