Accommodations in Easter Island

There are more and more pensions on the island. This is the most economical way to shelter and one of the nicest, in contact with the islanders.

You can find everything from the family trip to the house or a detached bungalow.

Pensions are rarely indicated and there are no street numbers. So sometimes you pass several times before a board without seeing it.

Most effective solution: make your reservation by phone or email before landing. The owners usually come pick up their customers directly to the arrival of the aircraft.

Prices start at the first U.S. $ 40 for two, usually between 60 and 80 U.S. $. For that price, it has also not always luxury.

Most hostels and hotels offer transportation to and from the airport. They also offer tours.
Prices charged are expressed in U.S. dollars.
Note: camping is prohibited on the island.
