The menagerie of Punta Norte

At the end of the peninsula, the site of Punta Norte offers a panoramic view of the coast. Lions and elephant seals come to breed here, living together in perfect harmony, despite their difference: an elephant seal weighs about ten times more than a lion and is close to three tons ... Just a reminder, sea lions, who squirm in their fins, are sea lions, and elephant seals, which slide on their bellies, seals! Males, adults, are easily recognizable, one with his mane, the other with its trunk ..., obviously!

In the spring, the males return to sea, while the females are recovering slowly from their emotions. Small, them frolic in the water with reckless abandon. Yet the danger is not far. At high tide, the orcs are prowling in search of tender flesh. Although the dolphin family, orcas, carnivore, is a formidable hunter. The teeth of the sea, it's her. Although the show is bloody, each visitor Valdés secret dream to attend the assault ... enjoying a wave, they take to the beach and do a mouthful of baby seals!
